How To Format A SD Card For Any Sentinel Programmed Scanner

For Initial Formatting Of Card I Recommend

 Using A SD Card Reader

In File Explorer Click This PC

Then Right Click The SD Card

After Right Clicking SD Card Follow These Instructions

After This Step you can Keep Using SD Card Reader

Or Insert the SD Card Into Scanner to Format in sentinel

NOTE: Scanner Must Be In Mass Storage Mode To Continue.

Open Sentinel and then Follow These Instructions

Up Dating Firmware & Data Base 

Make Sure Radio Is In Mass Storage Mode And Choose Update Firmware

To Update Database Just Click On The Update Master Database 

How To Choose Target Model

Click On Your Radio Model, BCD436HP & Bcd536HP Choose BCDx36HP Option

NOTE: On Home Patrol 1&2 You Do Not Choose 

A Target Model As it Is The Same For Both

If Using PROSCAN (link) Do Not Put Radio In 

Mass Storage Mode To Use & Program Radio In This Software

Here Is How To Connect Radio To PROSCAN (link)

First Choose Radio 

Then Connect Radio To PC With USB Cable Do not put in Mass storage Mode Screen 

Will Clear In About 15 Seconds & Radio Will Show ON Screen
